These were not made by me, but that doesn't stop me from pimping them on my site <3

I received my Christmas in July present last week. I was so happy, because my Santee, Sarang, made recolors of virtually everything I was hoping to have in my game like:

- Tons of Toddler clothing (PJs and Formal clothing)
- Formal Clothing for Children
- Formal Clothing for teen males and adult males
- Sofa recolors
- Toy recolors from Maxis Meshes
- The cutest set of Rugs ever!
- And even Pre-made Sims portraits.

I was SO spoiled this Summer! :)

Here's a preview pic:

This is a present made for Ndainye, who won my little genetic game.

As promised, here is a set of 9 "Simlish" paintings, featuring original artwork from the Sims 3 Store Content.

(I managed to extract their textures! :) )

Most of these paintings are recolors of the BV Travel Poster (a BG version is available at Sims2Artists by HugeLunatic).

The only horizontal painting is a recolor of the Suspense/Bridge painting.

The names of these paintings are the ones available at the Sims 3 Store site.

I converted the Sims Celebration and Valentine Day's paintings, as well as one from the Castle Set,
one from the Weba Yayfoo!  (Simlish) Set and one from the Ambitions EP.

These are all portraits of different Pre-Made Maxis sims and their predecessors. In order to take these pictures, I used both the Sims 2 and Sims 3 to capture the Pre-made predecessors and their childhoods. I also looked at pictures from the Sims 1 to style some of them as their Sims 1 selves.

I still have a lot of pictures left that feature the rest of the Broke family (I thought I had lost them, but I've just found them in my Photobucket account). I only need to tweak them a little with Photshop so they show up better as paintings in game and they'll be ready for SimPe.

Besides that, my plan is to do all the Pleasantview, Strangetown and Veronaville families, but for now I am focusing only on PV because it is actually the largest project (because its inhabitants are part of the three Sims games). I already have the Sims done in my game and I am currently taking the pictures. I can't wait to show them to you! :)

So, let's take a look at what I have tonight. I recolored three Maxis Meshes:

The first one is the good old BV mesh that everyone loves. Not only does it look great in game (and it has the perfect size and format for a portrait), but some creators have done amazing things with it, from frame recolors to whole sets that feature new shapes and sizes of this mesh. If you download these, you'll be able to use these recolors in many ways.

The BV Collectible Poster recolors I made are (in chronological order):

The Goths from Sims 3 (you can do like me and pretend these portraits look "odd" in your Sims 2 games because back when these pictures were taken, technology was not as advanced as it is today :D)

I found these designs through ONTD and I loved their simplicity. Best of all, it was ridiculously easy to adapt them to "Simlish", so here they are.

The original designs are by Albert Exergian and can be seen right HERE.

I only did 22 of the almost 50 designs available, by the way.

I plan to release the rest later :)

These are recolors of the Pineapple poster, so NIGHTLIFE is required in order to work.

These are 6 recolors of Maxis poster meshes, taken from "movies" I've come up with for one of my sims (Tim Broke)'s career as an actor:

From the "ARRR! The Search of the Hidden Booty" Movie:

These are some decals made with some of the extracted pictures from the game. They feature the quirky pictures from behind the dorm and teen doors from University and TSS.

These are recolors of the Half Height Wall Mesh from Aikea Guinea (in the picture above, you can see how this mesh looks like in Buy Mode. It shows up in Deco -> Paintings and it's quite cheap, so it'll probably be one of the very first items in the catalog).

Mac Users, the mesh is Base Game compatible, so you can use it without trouble :) ("MOAR" TSS for you!)

PC Users, if you have Apartment Life installed, the mesh also allows the height adjustment feature from this EP.

The Mesh is included!
