Premade Maxis Characters Part 3
This is the 3rd part of my Sims 1 and 3 characters' project. I was not going to continue with this project for now, but a comment from ![[profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
selenecorvino inspired me to tackle this again. She linked me to an entry in the Wikia with a link to zip created by someone named Callista that contained cleaned and extracted versions of pretty much every single dead pre-made character from the Base Game. I told her I would try them out and, considering I had a free afternoon today, I did it earlier than expected :D
Thank you so much,selenecorvino! This project has become easier than ever thanks to your link. The characters work all right, by the way, because they are cleaned clones. They are safe to use and I tried them out in both Bodyshop and in-game.
So, with these extracted characters as my base, I set to work on the next Sims 1 families from Pleasantview. I think that once I'm done with these I'll move on to Strangetown :D.
These are Brad and Tiffany Burb, parents of John "Johnny" Burb. They first appeared in the Sims 1 EP: Unleashed (aka pets).
Aged down Brad Burb resembles John a lot. I think this Sim is just a base face, but I am not sure.
I wish I could have edited him more, but unlike my Sims 3 to Sims 2 conversions, it is almost impossible to get a good close up of the Sims 1 characters to work on :P.
I recolored the hair and the outfit. Brad Burb is supposed to have gray hair in the Sims 1, so I gave him Brownish gray hair in the Sims 2.
And this is Tiffany Burb. Unlike Brad, I had never seen a face like hers. I confess I edited the mouth just a bit because it was a bit too "Joker-like" for my tastes.
Tiffany is a city girl, who moved to the country side with her husband and son (and those two are excited about living in a farm). She's not so sure about this new life, though. It is a bit of a parallel with the Burbs from the Sims 2. I guess John and Jenny eventually moved to the city when they were Young Adults (perhaps for college?) and moved back when Lucy was a child.
Next stop: The Pleasant Family.
As you can see, this time I aged Daniel up to a teen (even if there are no teenagers in the Sims 1)
Extracted Jeff Pleasant looked identical to Komei Tellerman, so I mixed him up a bit with Daniel with the help of the Pacifier at CAS.
His hair was also recolored by me :D. I looked for a short sleeved outfit with a tie like his Sims 1 version, but I was not successful.
Likewise, Diane Pleasant was also a face template, so I mixed her a bit with Jennifer.
Once again, this Sim was dressed with a gray t-shirt and jeans. Why, Maxis, why???
I refuse to have yet another Sim like that, so she was dressed with a classy gray vest :P
Finally, here's the Lothario Family.
I later realized that I forgot to add Nicolo Lothario to my game, so you only get Adriana and Don in the mean time.
Adriana is *very* pretty once you age her down to an adult. I did not tweak her face at all.
And to close this post, here's the little Casanova in the flesh: Don Lothario, back when he didn't know what Woo Hooing was.
(But he was fond of purple since his early years :D)
